Tell me in a few words, who you are.
I’m A Local Artist From East Saint Louis IL
I Recently just drop my new Ep title 89 Blocks Of Hate Vol.2 with my hit single
I Keep Running I been doing professional music for 4 years now.I do a give
back back to school event every year for the pass 5 years for the children of
my community.This Event is called Change The Hood It’s a nonprofit
organization that I started with my Best friend that passed in our
neighborhood 2 years ago by the Name Cold Kase due to gun violence 1
week before his signing to a Major.I use music as a escape from violence in
my community.It brings me peace,light and happiness while surrounded
around darkness. I love to hear my fans say that my music helps them as well
and it’s therapeutic for their dad to day walks of life
What’s your stage name and how did you come up with it?
Travo Bandz and my cousin gave it to me.
What got you into music?
My friend Cold Kase.
What was life like growing up?
Life was hard growing up being raised by a single black mother
of 5 in East Saint Louis, IL. The #1 murder capital of the
country.
What is your creative process like? What is the meaning behind
your current single?
I love music. My whole process is the love for
the art I have to believe in myself. I love going through life
challenges and making music about the ups and down of life.The
meaning behind it is, I keep running is just getting money and not being
broke.
What is the name of the current single/ep/album that you
are pushing? Do you prefer people to buy it or stream? And
why?
It is called, "I Keep Running"
I prefer for people to do both, stream and buy because it gives them more
ways to listen to my music.
With the industry changing so much, would you stay indie or
sign to a label? Why and why not?
I would love to sign to a major one day. if it’s possible.
I feel like you must have great partnerships in this business to
become successful.
Tell me about your most memorable moment in your career?
Winning a showcase competition to perform in a Atlanta GA. In
front of CMG And QC music.
Do you have a celebrity crush?
Megan Good
If you could open up for one celebrity who would it be and why?
Nelly because he opened the doors for my community to help
local artists to make it in the entertainment business.
What is one message you would give to your fans?
I love them and really appreciate all the support and love of the
past 4 years.
